Ron is a two-time first prize
winner in the wedding photography contest sponsored bi-annually
by Philadelphia Magazine's Elegant Wedding, winning once
in the "candid" category and once in the "kids" category. Before
photographing weddings, Ron worked for the Miami Herald as
a freelancer for years. He was also a photographer for the Atlantic
News Service, where he was based in Budapest, and covered
the war in Bosnia, as well as other political and local events
in Hungary. He started out his career with a degree in photography
from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where upon graduation
he was awarded "Best Portfolio".
After returning to
the U.S. Ron relocated to New York City, where
he currently works as a freelance
photographer for many business,
fashion, portraiture and architecture clients. He has worked
with Faith West Photography for the past four years, where he
brings his passion for telling a story to the exciting drama
of weddings. Ron feels that the relationship he has with the
clients is what makes his pictures stand out -- he brings his
warm, engaging personality and high standards of photojournalism
to every wedding he does.
