How many weddings have you photographed?

At last count, Faith West Photography had photographed over 450 weddings in its 10 years of existence! With the advent of digital photography, there has been a flood of hobbyists or recent art school graduates who decide to shoot weddings. Yet there is no substitute for the experience, training and talent of someone who does weddings, and only weddings, for a living, and has for the past decade.

Why should we hire you over other photographers?

The talent required to take photo is relatively minimal. The talent level to illustrate how people feel in pictures is of a whole different level. After people look at a Faith West Photography album, they feel like they know the bride and groom even if they don’t, or feel like they attended the wedding though they didn’t. That represents an exceptional level of talent that only a handful of photographers can provide you.

Do you use film or digital?

We use digital -- and only the latest, highest resolution equipment. Digital grants us the most creativity, and also guarantees that your photographer knows when he or she has taken the best possible shot. You will never receive images from Faith West Photography straight out of the camera! We spend many hours after your wedding in post-production poring over each image to digitally improve or enhance it, making it look its best in the final version. To ensure your final images is of the highest quality, we shoot in RAW format at your wedding, never in a compressed JPEG format, (though we will later convert your images to JPEG for easy access at your personal computer.) The RAW format results in the largest possible file size to allow us the highest level of creative control during the editing and enhancing phase.

How many images come with the package?

We guarantee at least 800 images.

Do we keep the DVDs? Can we make prints from those images?

Yes, you keep high-resolution versions of every image taken at the wedding on DVD. From these images you make prints of any size, up to wall portrait size. We do not own the copyright nor make reprints, you do. You can also post those images to the internet, or email them to friends.

Will you bring a second photographer to the event?

Yes. A second photographer comes free with every package. This person photographs candid images that the main photographer might miss, providing a fuller coverage of the wedding. The 2nd photographer also functions as an assistant, helping the main photographer to move equipment and set it up.

Will you bring an assistant to the event?

See above. The 2nd photographer is also the assistant.

Do you bring back-up equipment in case of technical difficulties?

All photographers bring at least three cameras and two sets of lighting equipment. We will never be without working equipment at your wedding.

What happens if my assigned photographer gets sick on the day of my event?

In the highly unlikely event that your main photographer is too ill to work at your wedding, Faith West Photography has a team of photographers at its disposal to act as substitutes. All of these photographers are highly skilled professionals trusted to use the Faith West methods and style.
