Manufacturer’s Country Club Weddings – Emily & Brian

Emily and Brian’s beautiful wedding was full of lovely details handpicked by the bride, including an antique “getaway” car from their touching ceremony at St. Anthony of Padua, bubbles, and more!

Gorgeous flowers from Carl Alan Floral Designs accented deep purple bridesmaids dresses as well as the spectacular ballroom at the Manufacturer’s Country Club in Fort Washington, PA where everyone danced the night away to the CTO Park Avenue band.

We hope you enjoy this sneak peek into Emily & Brian’s big day!

Down Town Club Weddings, Old St. Joseph’s Weddings – Jenn & Jim

Jenn and Jim celebrated their big day with a touching ceremony at the picturesque Old St. Joseph’s church in Philadelphia, followed by pictures throughout the city, including one of our favorite spots, the Merchant Exchange Building in Old City.

After some rainy day fun (we really can make the most of any weather!) we headed over to get the party started with Synergetic Sounds at the gorgeous Down Town Club.  Their family and friends danced the night away in this elegant setting accented by beautiful flowers from Chartreuse and even a surprise visit from the Phillie Phanatic!

Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day, Jenn and Jim, we wish you all the best!

Congress Hall Weddings, Our Lady Star of the Sea Cape May Weddings – Alexis & Jack

We were only too happy to make our way down to Cape May to celebrate Alexis and Jack’s big day!  Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Our Lady Star of the Sea church, which is right in the heart downtown Cape May, followed by a fantastic party at the always-stunning Congress Hall.  Both locations were accented with lovely seasonal flowers from Cape Winds Florist.

The bride and groom are actually natives of this gorgeous seaside town, and actually started “dating” in junior high school! (This may be a record for Faith West Photography….) They dated on and off through the years but decided to make it permanent after college – we love stories like this!

You would never know from Alexis’ wonderful attitude and radiant smile but we were actually dodging rain all day and there was even a button emergency that was luckily resolved when Faith’s sewing skills came to the rescue – she put down her camera and picked up a needle & thread to fix the dress – we really do whatever it takes to make the bride picture-perfect!

But Alexis, Jack, and their family and friends took everything in stride and the day was full of fun, joy, and a seriously packed dance floor with music by the Jerry Kravat Orchestra.

Thank you to the new Mr. & Mrs. for having us as a part of their big day, and enjoy this sneak peek!

Backyard Tented Weddings at Home – Allyn & Jeff

Allyn and Jeff were wed in a gorgeous ceremony at her family home followed by a wonderful party!  I loved the cozy, intimate feeling of celebrating their union at this meaningful, familiar location surrounded by family and friends.

Beautiful flowers were done by Diana at Water Lily East, and guests were treated to the delicious Karen’s Catering by Karen Spire, then danced the night away under the tent to the sounds of the bride & groom’s personal playlist.

Simple, sweet, and charmingly unique – we hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed Allyn and Jeff’s big day!

Philadelphia Phillies Engagement Session – Shannon & Tim

In the past few years, fall for a sports-loving Philadelphian doesn’t just mean the start of the Eagle’s season – our “Fightin Phils‘” now have us on the hunt for a “Red October” as they make their way to the playoffs yet again after clinching the National League East Division for the 5th straight year in a row! So many of our brides, grooms, and their families show their love of this team at their weddings through groom’s cakes, favors, and other little touches, but this engagement session took it to a new level.

Shannon and Tim were actually able to reserve Citizen’s Bank Park for about an hour so that we could walk around and get some awesome pictures – we love their creativity!

PS – Are you a superfan?  We hear you can even get married there!

St. John the Evangelist Church Philadelphia and Andalusia Mansion Weddings – Samantha & Jim

We are so excited to share some of our favorite photos from Samantha and Jim’s spectacular wedding day!  These two worked with the wedding coordinators, event designers, and florists at Evantine Design to create an exquisite day full of details that blew us away.

After a touching ceremony at St. John the Evangelist in Center City Philadelphia, we took some photos downtown and then headed to Bensalem and the stunning Andalusia Mansion so we could take advantage of the perfect grounds for more photos of the lovely couple.

Some of the most creative touches we enjoyed were a monogram Evantine created that was used in everything from the invitation to custom pillows used on lounge furniture at the reception, the colorful runners and tablecloths gracing rustic wooden tables, and even a gorgeous reclaimed-wood floor that made the tent look incredibly one-of-a-kind and special.

Delicious food and drink, presented beautifully, was provided by Callahan Catering and the The Big House Band rocked that tent all night long.

Plus, the bride’s parents, with Evantine, arranged for fireworks to be set off from the Delaware River as Samantha and Jim cut the cake!  It was breathtaking, and such a treat for everyone there!

We hope you enjoy these photos that were so fun for the Faith West Photography team to capture!

Ballroom at the Ben Weddings & St. Augustine Church Weddings, Philadelphia – Ashley & Nathan

Wedding professionals are known to joke that we are like the post office – rain, sleet, or snow, we’re on the job!  Hurricane Irene was no match for Faith West Photography, though, as we had three weddings that day to photograph during the storm.

I was lucky enough to spend the day in Center City Philly with Ashley and Nathan and must say that they and their planner Gina Sole as well as their guests showed total poise and confidence throughout the day and just rolled with the punches and made the day unforgettably wonderful.

The Ballroom at the Ben’s dance floor was transformed with a cool white dance floor featuring Ashley and Nathan’s monogram and Jelly Roll kept everyone on that dance floor all night long.

Rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck, right? Well then these two have nothing but happiness in their future for many years to come!

Congratulations, you two, hope you enjoy this sneak peek into your fabulous day:

Ballroom at the Ben Weddings – Alicia and Brian

Alicia and Brian were such a pleasure to work with!  They were game for lots of different city locations, and we planned their day accordingly.  We got to visit some of my favorite city spots for photos, like the beautiful and historical Christ Church, City Hall and it’s beautiful interiors, and the 18th Century Garden on a sunny summer day.

After lots of fun with the bridal party at those locations, we headed to the always-fabulous Ballroom at the Ben to get the party started with delicious food and cake by Finley Catering, gorgeous flowers by Necoh at Royal Design, and the upbeat, fun sounds of the Slippery Band.

Here are some of my favorites from the day, enjoy!

Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia Weddings and Old St. Joseph’s Church Weddings – Mary & Ron

Mary and Ron lucked out with perfect weather (some of the best we’ve ever seen in August) for their big day in Philadelphia.

The day was all about the details and I must say, the bouquets and table decor took my breath away – Brittany at Petal’s Lane did a wonderful job bringing Mary’s vision to life!  Mary’s hair and makeup were done by Richel D’Ambra Spa and Salon and Taymour Hallal, respectively, and we found out that her stunning lace dress (and veil and hair clip) were from Kleinfelds New York.

The touching ceremony took place at Old St. Joseph’s in Old City and the fabulous reception was at the timelessly beautiful Ritz-Carlton featuring the high-energy Sid Miller Dance Band.

Best wishes Mary & Ron, we think these pictures are as gorgeous as your day turned out to be!

Crystal Tea Room Weddings – Katie & Jeremy

This week we’re sending a big congratulations out to newlyweds Katie and Jeremy!

They had a beautiful day at the Crystal Tea Room with help from the fantastic planner Melody Appel of Innove Events who helped bring Katie’s vision to life with vibrant pink flowers by Carl Alan Floral Design, which perfectly complimented the navy blue dresses worn by ten (!) beautiful bridesmaids.

A big wedding party like theirs always makes the portrait session of the day a big party, and this was no exception – we got some great shots at the 18th Century Gardens, which is one of our favorite spots for photos in the city.

Finley Catering did what they do best, delicious food and one amazing cake (see the pictures below!) and the award-winning band Jellyroll got the crowd on their feet and rocked the Crystal Tea Room all night long.

We hope you enjoy the pictures from their special day!
