In keeping with the theme, I did some editing work to give these a vintage feel and couldn’t be happier with the results!

We went to see our friends at the beautiful Waterworks, and used the grounds there that overlook the Schuylkill River; it is truly one of the best places in the city for wedding and engagement photos.

This little taste made me really excited that Faith West Photography will be shooting this romantic pair’s upcoming big day! Hope you enjoy.

This famous landmark is probably most thought of as the “place where Rocky ran up the steps” but it is also one of the most romantic spots around, with beautiful views of the city, dramatic columns, and architectural details.

We love that these photos turned out as bright and cheerful as Heather and Tom themselves!

Anthony is a medical resident, and we have to hand it to him (and Sommer!) for making this happen at  7 a.m. before he had to leave for surgical rotations – he even brought his scrubs with him to the shoot! That is one dedicated groom.

A reward for such an early morning is no crowds and beautiful light that made this already gorgeous couple shine.

We are so excited for their big day!

Fabulous designer Nicole Miller showed her exclusive bridal designs while the gorgeous models strutted their stuff to the sounds of CTO bands and DJs.

Also, our friend Carrie Denny, the Weddings Editor of Philadelphia Weddings, was there signing copies of her new book, The Bride’s Instruction Manual.

Over 350 attendees made this the biggest and best Bellevue Gets Engaged ever and we have to give a special shout out to MKDA for their wonderful leadership in organizing the event, none of it would have happened without their amazing skills.

It is easily the most time-consuming part of any photographer’s job, but the stunning images we are able to produce make it all worth it; it’s exciting to be able to give my couples the special effect they are looking for.

I wanted to share these photos of Tamara and Al, not just because they are a beautiful couple, but because these demonstrate some of today’s most popular photo effects.

The happy couple’s first date was at one of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, Parc, which is right by our studio facing Rittenhouse Square. They braved the cold (without coats!) and we had so much fun revisiting their special place, and of course take advantage of the always charming park that’s right around the corner!

It was extra fun because Jamie is a bride lucky enough to call her wedding planner “Mom”!  The mother of the bride, was none other than Anna Weaver of Reflections of You, Weddings and Events, one of our favorite area coordinators! We were honored to be the photographers for her daughter’s big day!

Some of the other great wedding pros that helped make the day so beautiful were Dan Love of Catering by Design, DJ Sean McCaffrey from Center Stage, Cindy Brooks of Floral Designs by Cindy and cocktail hour music by Aaron Hehl.

It was so much fun to share this day with both families, and we hope the newlyweds continue to enjoy all the happiness in the world!

Some of the best vendors in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York came together to show off their best work, including bridal gowns and accessories by Exquisite Bride, lush table settings and more from wedding and event planners The Wedding Factor, Elegant Occasions, A Votre Service Events, and Rusty Thomas Event Designs utilizing rentals from Something Different Party Rental.  Floral designers Viburnum, Janet’s Wedding and Parties, and Tantawan Bloom complimented the scene with picture-perfect work.

We all especially enjoyed delicious cake from Pink Cake Box and Sylvia Weinstock Cakes, full service spa and salon treatment from Metropolis Spa Salon, as well as the stylings of Najwa Comeau and Stacey Nolan, providing travel hair and makeup.

Missing no detail, there were invitations and stationary from Little Black Dress Paperie and Joy Cards, custom designed jewelry by dodirocks, lighting design by Stortz Lighting, transportation by Levin Limousine, the DJ skills of Extravagant Entertainment, and ceremony and reception musicians Arturo Romay and the Philadelphia String Quartet.

To top it all off, brides were able to work on perfect registries with the help of Williams Sonoma.  It was so exciting to work with so many amazing partners.

Check out the gorgeous arrangements by Coupe Flowers, the soft colors and textures really complimented the chic gray bridesmaid dresses.  The James Gerard Orchestra kept the guests having fun all night long!

Congratulations again to the new Mr. & Mrs., we were so happy to be a part of your big day!

And of course we got to work with some of our favorite people at Evantine Design, who created magical surroundings for the ceremony in white, and vibrant table settings in pink and white for the reception.  Both the ceremony and reception were celebrated at the spectacular Rittenhouse Hotel, and the always amazing Don Eaton Orchestra kept the dance floor full all night!

We loved every minute and are so excited for Abby and Glenn as they begin their life together.
